This weeks Question: What are You looking forward to this Summer?


I am looking forward to a rock climbing trip as well as a trip to atlanta. Theres tons more but thats what comes to mind right now.

Long Time No See

I realize I have been absent for some time now. Allot of things have happened this past week and half that held my attention and not allowed me the time to sit and write. My husband has returned to us from a month long school that was terribly hard on his body. He came home with some injuries that we are still working to heal, he has mentioned to me that he feels he has aged his body by 10 years at that school. So much of my time has been working on getting his feet and body healed so he can go back to his other job tomorrow. I had taken on all the housework plus more so finding a free moment can be a bit of a challenge.
My son Bug decided this past Sunday that he needed to take a ride to the hospital in a ambulance. We had made a trip out to do some quick errands and once back inside the house I simply sat him down and off he tottered to play. While I sat everything down on the table and walked back into the living room Bug came up the hallway and he was gasping to breath. He started crying but not able to take a full deep breath I ran him down to my neighbors. The reason I ran to my neighbors is because he is a medic in the military and they do have allot of medical training. While looking him over he suggested I call an ambulance because Bug was turning a blotchy shade of blue and becoming rather lethargic. While in the ambulance his oxygen level dropped and they gave him oxygen. When we arrived at the hospital he was SO much better and within 10 minutes of being at the hospital he was acting normal again. Right before they had planned to discharge us he suddenly got a fever 102.8 and they gave him Motrin. As fast as the fever came on it was gone and they were shoving us out the door. I wasn't given and reason as to why he was having the problem or nothing. The hospital checked him for strep throat and the flu but nothing associated with his oxygen level or shortness of breath.
So in closing this last week has and half has been very interesting to say the least. I hope everyone else has had a wonderful week and your out enjoying the beautiful spring weather!!

WW-strawberries

Sorry for such a quick post things have been super busy the last few days!!

Almost Better than Sex Cake

That's what I have always heard it called but please feel free to call it "Better Than _____ Cake" fill in your own blank :)

Here are your ingredients

1 German chocolate cake mix
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
caramel topping 12 ounces
Cool Whip
3 heath bars, crushed

Heat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan.
Prepare cake mix as directed on package; pour into prepared pan.
After 10 minutes of baking, sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Continue baking until cake is done.
While cake is still hot, poke holes in it with handle of wooden spoon.
Pour sweetened condensed milk over cake; let cool.
Top with caramel sauce, then whipped topping.
Sprinkle with candy bars.


This will end up being Very moist. I hope you enjoy!

What is the funniest little quirk that one of your children have?

I know its a odd question but my 1 year started walking about a week and half ago and when he doesn't have a shirt on he walks around with his finger in his belly button. Its too freaking cute but odd at the same time to see the tiny little guy walking around with his bitty little pointer finger in his belly button.
